About Me

I'm Brady Genik, I am a current student at the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) and an intern at the City of Winnipeg's Tech and Innovation Department. I got started in tech because of an excellerated program I was in called Pembina Trails Early College (PTEC) where they taught me basic networking principals and multiple coding languages (HTML, JS, CSS, C#, C++ and python) in high school which to me to MITT and from there lead me to pursue a career in network systems and IT.

I studied to obtain my Cloud Network Technician certification by the end of grade 12, and i'm in the process of gaining my Network Systems Administrator diploma, At MITT i had the chance to work with phycial devices (AP's, Switches, Routers, etc,) and take courses like CCNA, Comptia Security and Server +, Azure and multiple Linux courses. The curriculum covered everything from network infrastructure to cybersecurity.

When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy working on my own personal projects and developing the application for my tech startup.
